Custom Solutions

While the Oracle/Hyperion suite is extremely powerful, there are times when a client requires something that is unique. At those times, many implementation firms will simply state that "the product does not do that". CheckPoint does not subscribe to that philosophy - we believe that if there is a need, then we will find a way!

Our team of custom developers leverages the Oracle Hyperion Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to design and build customized solutions. We have skill sets in Java, C#, C++, VB and most other major languages. Some of the solutions we have developed include:

• Crystal Ball API CheckPoint Consulting is the only partner approved by Crystal Ball Engineering to implement the new Crystal Ball API offering.
• Predictive Modeling Developed a custom Java application to work in conjunction with Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase that uses Monte Carlo-based prediction techniques to forecast revenue based on historical trends.
• Manufactured Part Modeling Developed a custom web-application that works with Oracle Hyperion Essbase to allow end-users to analyze shipped part details and create groupings of related parts (representative parts). These parts are added via a custom interface directly to Essbase and Hyperion Planning for immediate access by end-users. More than 400 users globally analyze in excess of 60,000 parts each week leveraging this tool.
